Book V of The Desert Princes of Jikkar

He is determined to save her--no matter the cost.

Yasmin is haunted by a malevolent spirit. She can hear its voice, feel its presence--and it wants her dead. Her only hope is the protection of the Jackal Prince, the very man she saved from death so long ago.

Siraj Pramtash is overjoyed when Yasmin asks for his protection. He’s been searching for her for years, ever since she healed his mortal wound as a child. He never forgot her striking beauty--or her lavender eyes. Now that she is a woman, Yasmin takes his breath away.

The spirit pursuing her rocks his caravan, but the Jackal will not be moved. In a desperate bid to keep her under his god’s protection, he marries her. But fate has much more in store for them than a mere demon from Kaldaeron.

When the truth is faced head-on, the Jackal’s faith in his god is shaken, yet he is determined to save his princess--or die trying.

Feast Your Eyes on the Spider...

~*~*~
Book IV of the Desert Princes of Jikkar

He vowed never to love again. Then he met her.

Amani Bantish has been passed over five times for marriage. She fears she has no hope for a husband until finally, the Spider Prince accepts her as his bride. Not for love, but to bear him an heir.

Two years ago, Ziyad Bihar lost his first wife, Karis, and their unborn son under the hooves of a raider’s horse. No one else could possibly compare to the woman he’d once loved, therefore his new bride will not be his princess.

But Ziyad cannot deny that the more he gets to know Amani, the more he fantasizes about his minx of a wife. Yet his loyalty to Karis pulls him deeper into his despair. When Amani’s life is threatened by the very man responsible for Karis’s death, Ziyad realizes he must fight for the woman he loves, or risk losing it all again.

This title is erotic.

The Desert Princes Are Now Complete

I have finished THE JACKAL PRINCE!  It made me cry, this ending, but I love it so.  This series as a whole is what I believe to be my best work.  Ever.  The books are sweeping and epic, the love is touching and emotional, and the covers kick ass.

This series is in hot competition with B*E*A*S*T*, my other proud body of work.  I have to say, however, as an author and a reader, I think the princes are my favorite.  Don't get me wrong, I have mad love for my BEASTie Boys, but my princes... they're so exotic and intense and just... damn sexy.  I love the setting, the feel, and the uniqueness of the plots themselves.

There are a handful of authors who have tackled the hot desert sands to write their romances.  I know Bonnie Vanak is one of them, who wrote about English lords riding with sheikhs in Egypt.  A few others have written about pharaohs or archeologists who dig up pharaohs.  A couple of these authors deal with sheikhs themselves in a setting like mine, and some deal with sheikhs as rich businessmen who own private jets and glorious palaces.

But am I the first to write a "sheikh-like" series on another planet altogether?  I think so.  If I'm wrong, feel free to let me know of the book/series.  I'm always on the lookout for exotic romances.

My only hope now is that these books live up to the hype.  I hope you love them as much as I do, and I hope you enjoy JACKAL's blurb!

Almost Finished with THE JACKAL PRINCE

It's about that time to start thinking about my blurb and synopsis for THE JACKAL PRINCE, book V in this series.  I'm almost done!  I have *maybe* 5K left to write, which sounds like a lot, but not if I put my back into it.  I'm figuring I can finish by the end of the week, possibly the weekend.

Once I get the blurb written, I'll share it here on this blog first.  It will be bittersweet for me to leave Jikkar behind.  But I can't be prouder of this series.  I honestly believe the Desert Princes of Jikkar is my best work to date.  I love these guys, and not just because they're hottie desert princes.  :P

I love them because they're so magnetic, so in control, yet so out of control at the same time.  They love their women to the point of pain in some instances, and I've tried to capture that raw emotion as best I can.  I'm excited to do my final read through of JACKAL before I submit it, because I've been avoiding going back and re-reading scenes.  With this book, I've just been plowing ahead, so hopefully, it will be "fresh" for me to go back and try to catch any errors/plot holes.

Jackal isn't quite as in-your-face alpha as some of the other princes, he's more of the devoted you-before-me type.  And I love him for that.  He's a great prince to end the series with, and I couldn't be happier to almost be finished.

Guess What I Saw?!

The mock-up for THE FALCON PRINCE's cover! I can't share it yet until it's approved, but it's GORGEOUS.  Obviously, it has green tones, since green is Khalil's color.  It shows his oasis, and his scars! I'm so happy the cover artist added his scars.  He's turned away from the "camera", so all you see is his back, but I love it, because it visually shows you his vulnerability with regards to those scars.

Check out his book's blurb page for a refresher on what this book is about:

and I'll show off the cover as soon as I can!  YAY!
